“Un día llegamos a este planeta, este nos acogió con toda su belleza natural, hoy somos grandes pensadores y no conseguimos saber el por qué nos alejamos cada día de aquella belleza que nos cautivó. Somos testigos de sus lágrimas de agua al descuidarnos y no hacer un uso responsable de su felicidad, somos parte de él y mientras más daño causemos simplemente nosotros seremos polvo. Hacer un buen uso del agua nos llevará a la satisfacción que calmará nuestra sed.” – Enrique Arana Salas / Docente de Arte

On March 22nd we celebrated World Water Day which was a good opportunity to analyze the problem of the proper use of water from different perspectives. The 5th and 6th graders created an artistic installation to honor this day. The following is Art teacher Enrique Arana Salas’ reflection regarding this activity.“One day we arrived on this planet, it welcomed us with all of its natural beauty, today we are great thinkers and we cannot know why,  every day, we are moving away from a beauty that captivated us. We are witnesses of the tears of water by not taking caring of it and by not using its happiness responsibly, we are part of it and as we cause more damage, we will simply become dust. Using water wisely will lead us to the satisfaction that will calm our thirst “.  – Enrique Arana Salas / Art teacher
