Dentro del marco de nuestra Unidad de Indagación “Cómo funciona el mundo”, nuestros pequeños de Kinder emprendieron un emocionante viaje al centro cultural Parwa en Chincheros.

Este viaje fue una oportunidad para aprender sobre los procesos textiles, como tintes vegetales y tejido de lana, también observaron de cerca la tradición cultural que rodea estos procesos.

Durante esta visita, nuestros aprendices exploraron las técnicas ancestrales que dan vida a los textiles. Desde los colores vibrantes obtenidos de tintes naturales hasta el manejo de diversos tipos de lana. Este encuentro con el mundo textil no solo consolidó nuestro entendimiento de la interconexión entre nuestros estudiantes y su entorno, sino que también fortaleció el respeto por la herencia cultural que nos rodea.

As part of our inquiry unit “How the World Works,” our Kindergarten students embarked on an exciting journey to the Parwa Cultural Center in Chincheros. 

This trip was an opportunity to learn about textile methods, such as natural dyes and wool weaving, and to closely observe the cultural traditions surrounding these processes. 

During this visit, our learners explored the ancestral techniques that bring textiles to life. From the vibrant colors obtained from natural dyes to the handling of different types of wool, this encounter with the textile world not only solidified our students’ understanding of the interconnection between themselves and their environment but reinforced respect for the cultural heritage surrounding us.
