VISITA DE JOHN CABOT UNIVERSITY / JOHN CABOT UNIVERSITY VISIT
Esta semana tuvimos la visita de Adriana Mejía, representante de John Cabot University, quien conversó con los chicos y chicas de 10mo grado, Diploma I y Diploma II sobre las opciones educativas de esta universidad estadounidense con sede en Roma, Italia. Gracias al esfuerzo que hace el departamento de admisiones de la universidad en América Latina pudimos conocer más de cerca la experiencia educativa, y la experiencia de estudiar y vivir en Roma. Fue muy grato saber que nuestros y nuestras estudiantes pueden acceder hasta a dos becas escolares para poder estudiar en John Cabot University y que, ser graduado o graduada del IB, ayuda al puntaje para poder conseguirlas, además de abrir la posibilidad de convalidar un semestre de cursos. Al final de la presentación, todos se llevaron un folleto y el contacto de la representante que gustosa podrá conversar con las familias interesadas vía Skype.

This week Adriana Mejía, representative from John Cabot University, spoke with 10th grade, Diploma I and Diploma II students about the the possibility of studying at this American university in Rome, Italy. Thanks to the university’s admissions department recruiting efforts in Latin America, we were able to learn more about what the university has to offer as well as what the experience of studying and living in Rome might be like. It was very gratifying to know that our students can access up to two scholarships to study at John Cabot University. In addition, IB Diploma graduates have admission and scholarship advantages as well as the possibility to gain credit for a semester of courses. At the end of the presentation, interested students received a brochure as well as Adriana’s contact information as she offered to arrange skype calls with families.
