Desde el 31 de octubre se inició la preparación final de nuestros estudiantes del Sexto Grado, para el “PYP” Exhibition, evento en el que demuestran todas las habilidades desarrolladas y los conocimientos adquiridos durante todo el año y la Primaria, siguiendo la metodología transdiscilinaria del Programa de la Escuela Primaria del Bachillerato Internacional.

En este proceso de preparación final, nuestros estudiantes serán los protagonistas de su aprendizaje a través de la creación de la Sexta Unidad de Indagación, cuyo tema transdisciplinario es “Cómo nos expresamos”.

Asimismo, el salón se organizará en ocho grupos; cuatro que elaborarán su indagación y exposición en inglés y cuatro en español; cada grupo creará una línea central de indagación y tres conceptos claves. En este proceso elegirán tres atributos del perfil y tres habilidades.

Como parte de este trabajo final, los estudiantes contarán con mentores, quienes los ayudarán y serán apoyo y fuente de información en los temas que nuestros estudiantes elijan  desarrollar.

Este trabajo estructurado también es apoyado por las familias, quienes tienen un rol importante y motivador para el Sexto Grado.

On Monday, October 31, the preparation of our Sixth Grade students began for the “PYP” Exhibition, an event in which they demonstrate all the skills developed and the knowledge acquired throughout the year and in Primary School, following the transdisciplinary methodology of the Program from the International Baccalaureate primary school.

In this final preparation process, our students will be the protagonists of their learning through the creation of the Sixth Unit of Inquiry, whose transdisciplinary theme is “How we express ourselves.”

Likewise, the students will be organized into eight groups; four that will elaborate their inquiry and presentation in English and four in Spanish; each group will create a central idea,  lines of inquiry and three key concepts. In this process they will choose three profile attributes and three skills.

As part of this final work, students will have mentors, who will help them and be support and a source of information on the topics that our students choose to develop.

This structured work is also supported by families, who have an important and motivating role for sixth grade.
