KINDER INDAGÓ SOBRE SU COMUNIDAD / KINDER INQUIRED ABOUT THEIR COMMUNITY
Como parte del tema transdisciplinario “Cómo nos organizamos”, nuestros estudiantes de Kinder identificaron los elementos que componen una comunidad.
Para el desarrollo de esta Unidad de Aprendizaje construyeron una maqueta, por lo que previamente planificaron sus proyectos en bocetos y los plasmaron de manera tridimensional con la ayuda de su docente.
La actividad desarrolló la línea de indagación “Existen diversos sistemas de servicios en la comunidad”, lo que permitió a los estudiantes reconocer las necesidades que afronta una comunidad. Nuestros estudiantes plasmaron sus ideas reciclando materiales y componiendo una maqueta de su comunidad, inspirada en la ciudad de Cusco.
Este trabajo ayudó a desarrollar la idea central de esta unidad, llamada “Las comunidades se esfuerzan para crear sistemas que resuelvan sus necesidades¨. Mediante la creación de la maqueta lograron comprender la funcionalidad de cada área necesaria en una comunidad.
De igual modo, mediante la experimentación y exploración de materiales comprendieron los comportamientos de los mismos para componer creaciones artísticas tridimensionales.

As part of the trans-disciplinary theme “How we organize ourselves”, our Kinder students identified the elements that make up a community.
For the development of this Learning Unit, they built a model. So, they previously planned their projects in sketches and captured them in a three-dimensional way with the help of their teacher.
The activity developed the line of inquiry “There are various service systems in the community”, which allowed students to recognize the needs faced by a community. Our students captured their ideas by recycling materials and form a model of their community, inspired by the city of Cusco.
This work helped develop the central idea of this unit, called “Communities strive to create systems that meet their needs”. By creating the model, they were able to understand the functionality of each necessary area in a community.
Similarly, through experimentation and exploration of materials, they understood their behavior to compose three-dimensional artistic creations.
