The Andino team participated in the workshop “Getting to know the Department of Orientation and Psychology”.

In order to know more about the work of our Psychology team does with the families, colleagues and students.

Through games and dynamics, staff also addressed the importance of team work and the three aspects of the International Baccalaureate profile: good communicators, solidarity and reflexive.

El cuento interpretado por el equipo del DOP fue “Los seres vivos y nuestro espacio”; una experiencia muy enriquecedora, dinámica y lúdica.

The Guidance and of Counseling Department (GCD), as part of its end of year activities shared a story Preschool students as a reward and exchange for their group piggy bank. The story presented by the GCD team was “Living Beings and Our Space”. We feel that it was a very enriching, educational and enjoyable experience.

Ha sido valioso haber recibido a todas las familias en este espacio, cuyo propósito es explorar sobre el perfil, potencial cognitivo, habilidades, desafíos, intereses y algunas características de la personalidad de cada estudiante.

Hemos notado la apertura de las familias y el compromiso de propiciar y generar un espacio de plática en casa  respecto a los hallazgos.

This week the Guidance and Counseling Department finished their individual meetings to discuss their child’s report with every 10th grade. It has been valuable to have received all the families in this space, whose purpose is to explore the cognitive potential, abilities, challenges, interests and some personality characteristics of each student.

We appreciate the openness of families and the commitment to healthy spaces for conversations at home about this topic.

This week our and our teachers participated in the VI National Seminar on Educational Research and III Ibero-American Colloquium held at UNSAAC.

We congratulate the Peruvian Educational Research Society (SIEP), which is constituted as an academic space for the dissemination of research that, from diverse disciplinary approaches and methodological perspectives, has as a focus of attention the educational phenomena in Peru.

Nos alegra mucho haber recibido a más de 100 familias y más de 246 personas entre hijos, hijas, padres, madres, abuelos, abuelas, etc. Felicitamos y agradecemos la asistencia a esta actividad diseñada con mucha disposición y cariño.

Las experiencias de las estaciones se dieron a través de charlas, talleres de movilización interna, expresión corporal y gestión. Los y las  invitamos a seguir participando activamente de las actividades programadas durante el año.

The Guidance and Counselling Department (GCD) this Saturday, May 26, held a workshop aimed both at families and our students of the initial and primary level in order to generate moments of interaction and link through activities distributed in Four Seasons.
We are very happy to have received more than 100 families and more than 246 people including children, parents, grandparents, etc. We congratulate and appreciate the assistance of these to the activity designed with great willingness and affection.
The experiences of the stations were given through talks, workshops of internal mobilization, corporal expression and management. We invite you to continue participating actively in the activities scheduled during the year.

The Guidance and Counselling Department (GCD), dramatized an adapted version of the story “The City of Villapeque” in order to raise awareness in Early Years about diversity and inclusion. Afterwards a reflection enabled the students to contribute great ideas about this topic.

The Guidance and Counselling Department (GCD) will hold a workshop on Saturday, June 2nd with Secondary families and students in order to generate moments of interaction and bonding through activities distributed in four stations, each of 30 minutes. We look forward to receiving families in this activity.
