The Pérez Romero family used puppets and stories to talk to the Kinder students about the importance of respecting rights and fulfilling responsibilities.

Students explored the components required to get along in a balanced society.

Students completed this activity during the first Unit of Inquiry. This unit allows students to explore how to live harmoniously with others, respect others rights and fulfill responsibilities both at school and at home.

We received a thank you letter from the Early Childhood Educational Center “Los Pimpollitos” in our district of Cachimayo, who visited us last week on the Early Childhood Education Day. It was a very fun day where we played, enjoyed a delicious snack and sang together. Thank you very much for your visit, we hope to see you back soon!

As closure of the unit of inquiry into Who We Are, the First Graders gave a presentation about their family’s customs and traditions, identifying the importance of family for personal identity. The students showed enthusiasm and creativity with their family traditions including dances, meals, clothes, songs, among others.
