Con ayuda de un bombo y palitos rítmicos, los niños y las niñas de Pre-Kínder aprenden el pulso y el ritmo de la música de manera divertida. Las clases de Música se realizan una vez por semana.

With the help of a drum and rhythmic sticks, Pre-kinder students learn about the pulse and rhythm in music, in a fun and engaging way. Music classes are held once a week.

En el Spring Festival, durante la celebración por el aniversario de nuestro colegio, un grupo de estudiantes de 5to a 8vo grado realizó una presentación en la que mostró todo lo aprendido en los talleres de música. En estos talleres practican guitarra, percusión y canto. ¡Felicitaciones por esta excelente demostración de habilidades musicales!

At the Spring Festival, during the celebration for the anniversary of our school, a group of students from 5th to 8th grade gave a presentation in which they demonstrated what they are learning during their school music classes focused on guitar, percussion and singing. VISITA DE LA ARTISTA GALA BRIE / GALA BRIE VISIT

La cantante peruana Gala Brie, en su paso por Cusco, visitó nuestro colegio para conversar con nuestros alumnos y alumnas de 9no, 10mo y Diploma sobre cómo ser artista en nuestro país. Compartió su experiencia como cantante, resaltando sus presentaciones para Katy Perry (2016) y Coldplay (2016). Al final, brindó un mini concierto cantando sus temas más conocidos para todos en nuestro anfiteatro. Muchas gracias a ella y a Alejandro León por venir a nuestro campus.

The Peruvian singer Gala Brie, during her time in Cusco, visited our school to talk with our 9th, 10th and Diploma students about how to be an artist in our country. She shared her experiences as a singer, highlighting her performances with Katy Perry (2016) and Coldplay (2016). In addition she gave a mini concert singing her best known songs for everyone in our amphitheater. Thank you very much to her and Alejandro León for coming to our campus.

Recibimos la visita de nuestros compañeros y nuestras compañeras de quinto y sexto de primaria del Colegio 50121 de Cachimayo quienes nos acompañaron en el Concierto Didáctico ofrecido por la Orquesta Sinfónica de Cusco. Las docentes nos expresaron su agradecimiento y la importancia de que sus alumnos y alumnas se nutran de esta valiosa e inusual experiencia escolar.

The Fifth and Sixth graders from 50121 School in Cachimayo accompanied us in the Didactic Concert offered by the Symphony Orchestra of Cusco. The teachers expressed their gratitude and the importance of their students being nourished by this valuable and unusual school experience.

CLASES DE MÚSICA / MUSIC LESSONS

Nuestros alumnos y alumnas tuvieron clases de guitarra y canto en las que desarrollaron sus habilidades espaciales.

En el taller de Guitarra, desarrollamos aspectos técnicos aplicados al nivel y grados de las alumnas y los alumnos de secundaria. Entendimos la técnica de este instrumento, lo que nos permitió conocerlo y tocarlo.

En el taller de Canto, las alumnas y los alumnos realizaron ejercicios de respiración y vocalización. Organizaron la selección de voces y sus registros vocales correspondientes.

Asimismo, aprendieron la técnica usada para facilitar la ejecución de los instrumentos y aplicarlas a piezas y/o canciones que serán presentadas en el concierto anual, además de usarlas también para las canciones y/o piezas favoritas personales. Todo ello sin perder el disfrute de poder ejecutar correctamente estos instrumentos.

Our students have had guitar, percussion and choir classes in which they developed their spatial skills.
In guitar classes we focused on technical aspects appropriate to the students’ levels and grades. Understanding this instrument’s technique enables being able to play it.

In choir, the students performed breathing and vocalization exercises. They also organized the selection of voices and their corresponding vocal registers.
In addition, they learned a technique used to facilitate learning the instruments and apply them to pieces and / or songs that will be presented at the annual concert, as well as using them also for their own favorite songs. All this without losing the enjoyment of being able to play these instruments correctly.
