Una forma efectiva de aprender a leer en inglés es usar juegos de palabras que ayuden a aprender de una manera divertida. Los niños y las niñas pueden recordar las cosas con mayor facilidad y rapidez, como cuando trabajan en parejas y aprenden unos de otros mientras se divierten. Esta vez, nuestros niños y niñas de Prekinder jugaron el conocido juego de “Piedra, Papel, Tijeras” para deletrear fonemas y practicar la lectura de palabras compuestas por Consonante-Vocal-Consonante, como “colchoneta, sartén, sentado, alfiler”.

The Jolly Phonics program consists of a systematic teaching of phonics and spelling with fun actions, stories and songs. One effective way to learn reading in English is to use word games that help children learn in a fun way. Children can remember things easier and faster, jut like when they are working in pairs and learn from one another while having fun. This time, our Pre Kinder children played the well-known game, “Rock, Paper, Scissors!” to spell phonetically and practice reading Consonant-Vowel-Consonant words, such as “mat, pan, sat, and pin”.

]]> COMUNIDADES / COMMUNITIES https://blog.andinoschool.edu.pe/comunidades-communities/ Thu, 18 Oct 2018 18:27:33 +0000 http://andinoschool.edu.pe/blog/?p=2535 Como parte de la unidad de indagación “Cómo nos organizamos”, cuya idea central es “Los seres humanos nos organizamos en comunidades”, los niños y las niñas de Pre-Kinder investigaron sobre su comunidad y los servicios que esta brinda; luego representaron gráficamente y explicaron la ubicación de tiendas, farmacias, veterinarias, mercados y otros lugares que se encontraban al lado izquierdo, derecho, frente a, y detrás de sus casas.

As part of the unit of inquiry “How we organize ourselves”, whose central idea is “Human beings organize themselves in communities”, the Pre-Kinder students researched their community and the services it provides; then graphically represented and explained the location of stores, pharmacies, veterinarians, markets and other places that were on the left, right, in front of, and behind their houses.
