The youngest children in our Early Childhood Education Program, who turned two by March 31st, are part of our Toddlers classroom which focuses on language development, psychomotor skills, the exploration of materials and the conceptual foundation that will serve as the basis for years to come.
Our approach to working with these youngest students is grounded on individualized attention combined with a respect for each student’s own pace.

The 2-year-old boys and girls engage in gross motor skill activities that include jumping and rolling. This circuit is integrated with the Discovering the World, where we develop communication and comprehension skills; in this example, related to geometric shapes and relationships. The final part of this activity is to look for geometric figures in a container with other sensory stimulation and then indicate the figure and color found.

Blowing bubbles is not always an easy task, especially when you are two years old. This activity was quite a fun challenge for our children in the Toddlers classroom.

Exercising facial muscles improves speech and pronunciation, increasing their ability to communicate.

Playing with bubbles is great fun for adults and children alike!
