Esta semana hemos recibido la visita de estudiantes y docentes del Markham College, colegio IB de Lima, quienes junto con nuestros y nuestras estudiantes habilitaron una biblioteca en la escuela 50121 de Cachimayo. Además de este proyecto CAS de servicio comunitario, nuestras familias hospedaron a los y las visitantes permitiendo un intercambio aún más poderoso y duradero. Esperamos poder realizar más actividades parecidas en el futuro.

Asimismo, queremos agradecer de manera muy especial a las familias y estudiantes anfitriones, así como a la delegación de Markham por su visita, amistad y generosa donación de libros para nuestra propia biblioteca. ¡Fue un ejemplo más de lo lindo que es pertenecer a la comunidad IB!

This week we received the visit of a delegation of students and teachers from Markham College, and IB World School located in Lima, Peru. This delegation, along with a group of ANDINO students set up a library at 50121 school in Cachimayo. In addition to this CAS community service project, our families hosted the visitors enabling a profound and lasting connection. We hope to engage in more activities like this in the future.

In addition, we would especially like to thank the host students and their families as well as the Markham delegation for their visit, their friendship as well as their generous donation of books for our own library. It was a wonderful example of the benefits of being part of the IB community!
