Nuestras y nuestros estudiantes de 10mo grado junto con las y los estudiantes del primer año del Programa de Diploma IB tuvieron la oportunidad de conocer la Universidad Carroll (Wisconsin) y la Universidad de Wyoming a través de presentaciones realizadas por sus representantes que estuvieron de visita en el Cusco. Fue muy emocionante conocer sobre la vida académica y estudiantil de estas universidades. También fue muy alentador enterarnos que nuestras y nuestros estudiantes pueden tener acceso a importantes becas que hacen que estas universidades sean opciones más asequibles de lo que se pudiera pensar. Finalmente, aunque existen ventajas clave al culminar el Programa de Diploma IB antes de ingresar, fue bueno saber que las y los estudiantes también pueden postular directamente después de terminar la secundaria. Queremos agradecer a Juan Manuel Delgado, representante de Education USA del ICPNA – Cusco por hacer posible esta reunión. Es evidente que nuestras y nuestros estudiantes están desarrollando los atributos y las habilidades necesarios para hacer posible el sueño de estudiar en una universidad de Estados Unidos.

Our students from 10th grade as well as the first year of the IB Diploma Program were introduced to Carroll University (in Wisconsin) and the University of Wyoming via presentations from representatives visiting Cusco. It was exciting to learn about the academic and student life of these colleges. It was also heartening to learn our students could access significant scholarships making these universities a much more affordable options than one might think! Finally, while there were key advantages to completing the IB Diploma program prior to attending, it was good to know that students could also apply directly to these universities after finishing high school. We would like to thank Juan Manuel Delgado, Education USA representative from ICPNA- Cusco for making it possible.  It is clear that our students are developing the important attributes and abilities that make studying at a US university a possible dream.
